Find balance, resilience and calm through mindful movement
“The success of yoga does not lie in the ability to perform postures but in how it positively changes the way we live our life and our relationships” – TKV Desikachar
Our busy urban lifestyles can take their toll on our health and happiness, and many of us struggle with stress, overwhelm, anxiety or fatigue. This emotional stress and our life experiences can show up in our bodies as aches, pains, and muscle tension among other things. But it doesn’t have to be this way.
I’m Beth, and I teach yoga to help you on your way to wellbeing.
I teach hatha yoga that is calm, slow and soothing, strong and alignment-focused, mindful and balanced, and accessible to all levels including complete beginners. I specialise in yoga for stress, anxiety, low mood and fatigue, and I have experience of supporting people with chronic illnesses.
You’ll find a relaxed space and a supportive approach that will help you move towards balance, resilience and ease. There are so many benefits of yoga and I look forward to supporting your journey towards wellness.
Peach Yoga philosophy
- Start where you are. It’s natural to want to start where you were last time you practiced, where you want to be, or where other people seem to be. But give yourself permission to be where you are, and start there.
Yoga is about balance in all things: body and mind; strength and flexibility; self-discipline and self-acceptance; effort and ease; stillness and movement; self-reflection and social connection.
Less is more. We spend our lives rushing forwards but when we slow down we can find space, strength, and clarity in the present moment.
You have the answer. My most important task as a teacher is to help you to listen to your body and your intuition so you can guide yourself to wellbeing.
Yoga is for everybody.
I look forward to meeting you on the mat soon – you’ll find me teaching in London, Purley and Caterham. Join me for classes or workshops, get in touch to arrange private yoga tuition or workplace yoga, and subscribe to my newsletter for regular insights and inspiration.
And of course, don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.
